Free F150 Suspension! But wait..

the thing w/ coil spring compressors are you have to take them off after the springs have no weight on them, which can be a fun game to....

I always respond to the guys at work, when ever they ask if something is safe to go under.

"Are you willing to bet your your life on it?"

I was going block off the back wheels, parking brake too, and then raise the front with my jack; jackstands; then use an S10 spare I have, and throw it under a section of the frame, and put a piece of wood there on top of it as a safety, in case a jackstand fails. On the other side I will use a wooden log I have (pretty wide)

Great advice being given on here. Always take every precaution.

This is definitely not the way to do it:

I've seen some funny ones, someone made a one-wheel ramp and drove the entire left side of the truck up it and proceeded to shove logs under the frame (long ways), and then got a sledge hammer and dropped the ramp and have the frame land on the logs, he then jacked up the logged side of the truck, put on mud wheels, and just drove it off. Thats my area for you.

for my shocks, I might put the 84 up on the drive ramps I have, they are safe, I've worked under 3 or 4 cars securely without even a hint of doubt, they are well built, no idea on make though, dad got them years ago, but they have a kangaroo on the back if that means anything.

for getting the blocks off, Im gonna go buy some short U bolts (7's or 8's) and frame up on the drive ramps I have, when I am done, reverse order and put the wheels on and drop it, then I tighten the U bolts once its low enough. I will try it next sunday most likely.

I would today, but my girlfriend wants me home for dinner, so I mustin't disapoint haha, plus, free meal XD
