I've recently had to reconnect a bunch of wires on the headlights and in the process somehow managed to disconnect the main line for my coil...the end result was it wouldn't start one day and I thought it was frozen gas line...and the result of that was when I finally wiggled the wires it found the connection and blew my new muffler wide open...

Soo...the gist of this is...any suggestions for replacing the connector? It's the 2.0 wiring harness and the connector has eight or ten wires...two of which are my outside lights and head lamps...the rest I haven't figured out...but I just want to remove the connector and put in either a single or a few of them...

I've used trailer light connectors a few times and they work great...but these wires a bit heavier gauge than the ones I've seen on the trailer connectors...

Any suggestions appreciated...but remember...I'm in Canada...and don't want to ship from the US because they require credit cards or paypal...just want some leads if possible...

Thanks!

Try to find a electrical supply dealer. They will probably have what you need in stock. The one I deal with in Red Deer AB., Ko-Hen Electronics Supply, has had everything that I've asked for. For example, I can buy a relay there for about C$6.00 compared to about C$24.00 at an Auto-value or C.T. They'll have a plug end that you can use or will order it in.

You might try Princess Auto.

Great ideas...thanks...never thought about electrical supply stores (doh, and my father was an electrician...)...and I've seen connectors in Princess Auto...just isn't one handy where I am now...but I know where they are...
