It seems the 1977 intake, carb, and distributor, are not the only frankinford parts in here.

The cast factory header is a post 92 item. Heck the entire motor might be newer. Its all well rusted together.

By bottle feeding it, It runs like a sewing machine. It seems the fuel pump took a dump. I crawl under there, and what do I see? An inline Mr Gasket 4-7lb fuel pump.

So Bubba just stuffed another fuel pump up stream of the OEM tank pump.

Is this a common practice? :icon_surprised:

yeah....i know what frankenfords can do for a guy.

We all know that the old 2.3 Lima motor went through several generations. However getting parts of one generation to work with those of another; well that takes true redneck genius there!;missingteeth;

Only if you are dumb.

I've learned all to well with my ranger what bubba and the backhill gang will rig up on a truck

Exhaust hangers made of coat hangers fuel filter bypassed with plumbing pipe missing push rods and a load of duct tape instead of proper wire connections

When the 3.8 came out in 82 the only gaskets it used were head gaskets, everything else was RTV. And they leaked everywhere until gaskets came out. It wasn't "rednecks" that we were calling the engineers. If a redneck did something it might look a little crude but I suspect it would work.

Not saying redneck but on my 92 3.0 the vavlecover gaskets are made to go into the vavlecover and the people I got it form just globed at on it and slapped it on oil was pouring out that what I was referring to with the ATV comment red necks would've did better than that

Weird! Tank solution.how can I explain my creations? Haywired is great for exhaust.I gots 13 crimps on my rear hydraulic line rot. And a splicedout abs solinoid.
