I know this has been covered before, just having a tough time finding some pics and help. 84 Ranger driver side framerail up by the steering box isn't flat, as many of you have prolly noticed. I am trying to get some 79 Bronco coilbuckets to fit. Whats the easiest way to fix the frame? I have access to a welder, and i have an angle grinder and a die grinder if it helps. Pics appreciated!

You know that mounting the buckets is probably one of the easier parts of a SAS?

Maybe you shouldn't be doing the swap yourself?

Fix the coil bucket, not the frame. Just make some cuts in the bucket and make it fit the frame and weld it back up when it fits right. Not that hard.

thanks. I ended up doing that but came to conclusion i liked the stock buckets alot better. I modified them to fit fullsize coils.

Why did you choose the stock buckets over the fullsize buckets? Without serious modification, there's no way you got a full size coil to sit in the stock buckets better than they do the FS buckets.

Mainly because the stock buckets have the shock mounts already there..saved me some time and money. I got the coils to fit well so no problems here.
