if/when I blast my frame, do I need to remove all the brake lines and such? Couldnt I just becareul around those area's and use a lower pressure?

if you are going to go to that much trouble of actually blasting the frame, why not go ahead and put new brake hard lines on? They arent that expensive and usually the one that rides the frame rail to the rear brakes is about rusted through on the older trucks.

If it were me i would replace them as mentioned above. But you can just blast away and then see what needs replaced when your done.

If you are using a little hand held blaster you probably wont get enough pressure to hurt the lines.
If your using a big industrial blaster then you might get enough pressure to mess them up.

I am goign to rent a 100+ cfm compressor and sand blaster. I'm not sure what I was thinking (i work third shift, so sometimes thoughts get a little screwy). Budro is right, no sense in not doing new lines.
