ok went to install my new rear axle (after my mishap with the torch) and my srings are at 42in at the centering pin, loosened all the bolts a little more and i can force them into place at 40 inches im still an inch and a half wide. took some measurements off the frame its 33in wide and the center of the spring is 3.5in so spring c to c is 40in?should be 38.5in c to c? anybody able to measre their trucks frame width and how far your springs center is off the frame at the mount for me? im really hopin im not lookin at a frame issue.:icon_confused:

tech library says 38.5 for RANGER/Explorer,

bronco ii are a different width(they are the odd balls for rear axle perch width) most the time when people bolt a ranger axle into a bronco ii the leave springs do this \ / so i think the bronco ii is wider than the ranger

ok cool im gonna head to the bone yard to get a look at a norher B2
