I purchased a 1985 Bronco II to keep at the camp for bad weather going back and forth to deer stands. It had been parked in a horse pasture for 4 years so you can guess how it looks. Body very good shape and all glass good. I hailed it home and charged battery and it started well and idled fair but would not accelerate at all. I pulled Carb and put kit on it. I put new map sensor on it and a new throttle response sensor. Problem being it has no power it will pull itself some what in 1st & 2nd gear but no higher. At 1st it ran fair at idle but now has developed dead miss on #3 cylinder and has begun to smoke like a freight train. Even with miss still starts well and has no knocks or rattles coming from engine. I pulled catalitic converter and it was in great shape. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
