does anyone know the weight of the oil used in a fox 2.0 remote res shock is it like hydrolic oil?

call Fox THEY will know.

about 5wt.

yes you can use other oils, it dose not have to be "shock oil".And yes like hydrolic oil. aw iso 22 works

the higher the Vi index the better the oil. the longer it will last and be more consitent in tunning the shocks as well.

with that said I have ATF in my shocks, not the best choice over all I'm sure. but it works
