Fox Racing Grille

im thinking about fabricating a new grille with the fox racing logo cut out of it. possibly going to use a plasma cutter for it and light it up with blue LEDs. anyone ever done a custome grille before?

Sounds like it would be cool. I wouldnt light it up blue though. thats asking to be pulled over.

i kno.ill just keep it on a toggle and only have it on when parked

trying to decide on wht i should use... aluminum, stainless, or just chrome dip some sheet metal? (more than likely will be cutting it with a flow jet)

we made a one for a boy in my welding class's truck he had a Z71..we just used the CNC machine and cut it out of aluminum

just got metal yesterday. went with 1/8 inch steel cuz they didnt have thick enough aluminum. now my question is should i go with chrome rustolium spray paint or do a chrome dip? and how much for a chrome dip?

I think the dip would look better and you would be able to clean it up better. I guess it all depends on how much it would cost though.

anybody know what i should use as a backing for bondo for the outer grille housing? im tryin to kinda go off of the video in the tech library, so gutter gaurd?

hopefully gettin bondo, spray paint, and wet sand paper tomorrow. still waitin on contact from the guy with the flow-jet
