....so we have been chasing a network reception problem that is actually your antivirus being a resource hog...

Well, not exactly...initially I posted this to say that I was getting better reception than before on the same equipment with a different network...but it has been fluctuating and actually losing connection sporadically even though it has been stronger and more consistent.

I think it was more of an issue with ambient interference at the previous location as well as the distance from the router. At this location there are similar issues but they don't seem as severe and my reception has been much better over all.

I do intend to upgrade the RAM to see if everything improves from that point or if I need something like a reflector or if I should simply hard wire it and be done with the wifi...

Mark is always chasing something.... mice, resource hogs, his thermos..... his nuts....

LOL...but it does keep my post count down on TRS and keeps me otherwise busy that I'm not sitting on TRS watching for new posts...I can now surf the net and look at scantily clad women or research things that might actually prove usesful...

I might even get inspired to go out and swap the head on my truck...
