Nice truck...I'd consider it...after a bit of testing...only thing I don't like is the cab...too small for me...

looks like i nice rig. i would ask to take a test drive first to see how it handled and if there was anything wrong with the drive train

The upper steering arm looks like its part of the original ranger steering. the radius arm drop brackets look flimsy and lack the cross member that originally came on vehicles with this style of suspension. If it has 260 joints on those front shafts and not 760Xs they are actually weaker than the d35.

but a TTB 35 has 2 more u-joints to fail.if thats what you are referring to....
what 5-speed would this have?
i could probably buy this pig for around $2800 cash.
don't get me wrong 86.i do respect your opinion and i want it...

Should be the Mazda 5 spd.

This is a case of somebody's loss is somebody else's gain. There is way more work on that thing that they can sell it for. And think of all the time it takes to do that yourself. That's a steal in my book.:icon_thumby:

Well IMO>>>>

One of the sharpest lookin early 90's model Ranger's I've seen.......I'm personally not real fond of the gen 2's, but as I said, that's a good lookin rig......BUT, it needs a V8!:icon_twisted:

That truck doesn't look too bad on the surface from what I can see, but I agree, those radius arm drops could've been done much better (those things are land anchors). You got any pics of the trackbar bracket and where it's welded to the frame (hopefully reinforced to the engine crossmember)?

Also, are those bolts I see missing out of the front diff cover? :icon_surprised:

TTB has one more u-joint (and it's in a position that sees less stress, making that joint less prone to failure).
No question the D35 is most certainly a stronger axle, unless the EB axle has had it's shafts upgraded, then it could be a much closer call between them.

Yes, Mazda M5OD on that truck if it's a 4.0L

i think monday iam going to drive this pig and see whats its hiding.

i already have one with a v-8:icon_hornsup:....iam looking at this for a DD:icon_thumby:

Is it me or do I see rust bubbles under the paint on the door. Upper right hand corner next to where it says "RANGER.":icon_confused:
