I went to the junkyard today to look for some radius arm mounts for my extended radius arms. I looked at a pair of 78 f-150 mounts. They are great...but the problem is you have to grind the rivets out in order to remove it and that is hard at the junk yard.

I started looking for other options...and I found it. Its from a 1986 Ford Econoline van. The good thing about them is they are 100% bolt on...no rivets! And they are mounted close to the frame rail.

The problem with the mounts though is they are for a boxed frame...so I will have to modify that...not a problem at all. And, I noticed they angle outwards...is that going to be a problem?

What do you think?

they are kind of tough to use, but cut and fit to a k member they are convenient.

i use spring hangers from various gm/dodge vehicles for swaps.

those ones are whopped out a bit, look at the frame where the big washer is....the washer was destroying the frame....common issue with those.

So these are a no go? What hangers did you use for your mounts?

I don't really want to start from scratch...and I don't have enough plate or strong enough plate make mounts.

Thanks!

they can be fitted like any other....just make sure the hole isnt wallered...

You mean how the hole on the mount (next to the rubber bushing) is pushed out towards the axle? I noticed it looks a little different than normal.
