Went to the wrecking yard yesterday and was kind of sad to find the first Ranger I bought. I don't get attached to cars/trucks that much but this truck took everything I threw at it and kept right on going.
It was never a great looking truck but it was sad to see the shape it is in now.

It don't look that bad. Sometimes its better to let them go somewhere u'll never see them again. That way u don't have to see what they've become

Look at the bright side: Parts from your Ranger can help others keep going.

Buy it back. that thing would make an awesome rat rod.

I never knew what happened to my first Ranger (1984 model) after I sold it 12 years ago. When I bought my current '08, traded in the '95 Ranger I had and it has gone through two owners and I see it from time to time.

Naw. If he jusy slapps the v8 in and leaves the paint alone, he could have a nice little sleeper on his hands.

I say buy it back, too. I sold my first car (my grandfather's car...a caprice) to an f-tard who blew it up and left it sit in his apartment complex 'til it got towed. I'd give ALMOST anything to have that car back to fix up. This is coming from a guy who hates Chevys.

Even if you don't regret it so much now, it's just going to hound you when you get older. You're going to constantly wonder "what if..."

yeah, always keep your first car, unless it gets hit so bad it can't be fixed.

that ranger has gotten so ugly that it is becoming beautiful again for some reason i cant explain i would love to drive that leave it as is and if that engine is too far gone maybe throw in a carbed v8

i say if you liked it that much, buy it back. but its nice to see that its still in somewhat good shape.. that to me is a proper burial....sittin in a salvage yard, helpin out other rangers or bII's lol
