found a truck on the craigs list

Probably not going to do this. When I texted him that I wanted to come down and put eyes on it, drive it, he has not responded. Tells me what I need to know. There is likely something wrong with it. He wants someone to pay him and have it shipped. So, talkin to a friend who has a garage full of old school hot rods, including a 65 Shelby 427SC Cobra. He said not to bother if he won't answer after telling him I wanted to come eye it.

damn that's crazy

Surely someone on here is from the Orlando area. Go take a look at it!

any updates on the truck?

Nope. Told him I wanted to drive down there and eye it. No response since. Likely something is wrong with it. He wants someone to buy it sight unseen and have it shipped.

Scam.

Either scam or he found a buyer. Listing is removed.

It's a bummer to say but my default position on any online classified ad now that looks reasonable is it's a scam. That's where we're at now, Craigslist/Kijiji USA/Canada, cars housing tools whatever. Used to be too good to be true is a scam, now it's just "looks decent". It's almost totally scams.

Yeah. I did that once. We'd been hanging out about a month. Thought I'd surprise her after work. I was the one that got surprised when her husband came home.

That said, my uncle just bought a Duromax 8500 watt dual fuel generator that's never had oil in it today for $250. Guy said he was moving to Florida and didn't wanna take it with him.

He swears that everything works, gauges and lights. But doesn't seem to want me to come put eyes on it. Asked him to post a vid on YT. "I don't have time for that shit!" Well, I don't have time to come to Florida from Oklahoma then.

Does Florida have smog checks? Are vehicles 25 tears and older exempt? None here. There's a guy here driving a black slammed Ranger with a 302 under the hood. Well built too. Rattles windows when he drives up. But has skinny ass tires to fit in the lowered wheel wells. Was at a Cars and Coffee one fine morning, heard this bad ass rumbling. Lookin around to see what it was, black lowered Ranger. Haven't seen him again since.

There's a guy here with a black S-10. Has a V-8, fat and skinny tires. Works at an O"Reilly's.
