damn that's crazyProbably not going to do this. When I texted him that I wanted to come down and put eyes on it, drive it, he has not responded. Tells me what I need to know. There is likely something wrong with it. He wants someone to pay him and have it shipped. So, talkin to a friend who has a garage full of old school hot rods, including a 65 Shelby 427SC Cobra. He said not to bother if he won't answer after telling him I wanted to come eye it.
Nope. Told him I wanted to drive down there and eye it. No response since. Likely something is wrong with it. He wants someone to buy it sight unseen and have it shipped.any updates on the truck?
Scam.Nope. Told him I wanted to drive down there and eye it. No response since. Likely something is wrong with it. He wants someone to buy it sight unseen and have it shipped.
Craigslist dating ads were the exact same way. It's a bummer to say but my default position on any online classified ad now that looks reasonable is it's a scam. That's where we're at now, Craigslist/Kijiji USA/Canada, cars housing tools whatever. Used to be too good to be true is a scam, now it's just "looks decent". It's almost totally scams.
Most of them were asking for things I a) didn't have or b) couldn't get within 48 hrs.Craigslist dating ads were the exact same way.![]()
