So i found a parts truck. Finally. Looks like the bed is gone and replaced with some other kind of bed replacement, idk, the pictures dont show it well but whatever. Its a 96 Ranger 4x4 4.0 extended cab with about 150k. Got a 4" suspension lift (rough country i fear :annoyed: ) and a 3" body lift. Got 35" tires, look like TSLs but im not too sure, and looks like they have decent tread left. The tranny is auto and original, so of course its no good lol, but 2nd gear apparently works so ill be limping it home the 1.5hr drive in 2nd lol. Asking price is $500, hoping to get em to likeeee 450 or 400.

Parts i need from it:
Dana 35
T-case (to make a doubler)
Maybe the motor; says it runs strong so well see if its better than mine
Tires
Body Lift
Suspension lift assuming its not rough country

Think the 400-500 is reasonable?

Also, how hard would it be to put the extended cab on my single cab frame? or is that just not feasible.

Thanks guys!

id buy it for that, but i would trailer it home because i dont like getting stranded and your already driving there.

What's wrong with a rough country? I know friends who have had theirs for many, many years with out any problems. I used them before I I had not problems what so ever.

notice how i say i need a new Dana 35 up there? :annoyed:

Thats because the guys at rough country gave me a free diff ventilation hole with my lift. I already have a rough country lift and i hate it.

plus my buddy just sent his lift back to them for his TJ because of the ridiculous death wobble it developed at a whopping 50 mph. like so dangerous we thought we were going over the side of a bridge with a 100' drop. cars were honking at us left and right, we turned around went home and started taking it off.

if i could punch rough country's lead engineer in the teeth, believe me i would lol :thefinger:

yes but trailering it will cost another 100 in diesel fuel, ill take the risk and if i cant make it, then ill pay for the fuel for my buddy to come rescue me
