My credo
For every door that closes another one opens for you to lead others always when you least expect it!
Always looking for a fancy good deal on a Ranger, mainly for friends. Found this one that seems to be a clone of a newer version. Right now I'm pleading for a VIN #, before I make a 12 hour trip to stick my eyeballs to it. He's not asking much, however it may not be much. So I'd though posting a pic or two here might help me discover what may be or not be. Don' know what engine it has, or the suspension. I would guess is a TIB. The stinker is that FX4 trims weren't even around in '93 so the paint & decal aren't stock. Not uncommon. Prognosticators welcome.

Those FX4 stickers are off an F150.

Sure looks to be TTB... judging from the front diff you can see.

I love that topper. Wish mine had the open up side glass.

Thought I recognized the bed decals from something. The M/T tires says have only 500 miles on them. He's asking $4000, but not speaking english. 12 hours away. Front diff??? Oh yes, I can see it, looks big like an 8.8". So it must be a 4x4, the ad said hardly nothing. Still waiting for more info over a week now.

I like it...

Not positive... but i don't think that's a factory color.

If that truck was a clean Texas truck with a bad trans I'd give close to that.

So it makes me think it could be a scam. If they say you can drive it away... THAT truck comes with more of a 10k number.

Good luck though... but watch your step.

Stickers are cheap and readily available. I wouldn't let that sway my decision one way or the other, unless I was looking for a pristine all-original truck. I'm never looking for that. Same with the color as long as it was a good paint job and I liked it. Those flares appear to be common Bushwacker flares, or similar amazon alternative, nothing wrong with that if you like it, though I would caution to look for rust behind them if anywhere other than Texas.

I'm not going to say that it is a scam, but like Gump I would be cautious. A clean Texas truck outside of Texas, is going to be worth a fair bit more than a clean texas truck inside Texas. Check out what the seller has for other listings, and if they've got the same vehicle listed in a lot of areas. Both of those have clued me into scams that otherwise looked legit. If all else checks out and you can get past the language barrier, go check it out. Definitely don't do any money before seeing in person, but I'm sure you already knew that.

extended cab 4x4 means 3L or 4L engine and definitely TTB up front with that axle, think I even see manual hubs... pretty much only questions would be the shape of the transmission and how many miles...

I entered that plate into O'Reillys site. It shows a 93 4.0 XLT.

I found another site that supposedly has the vin. IDK if I should post it here tho.
