I am replacing my rear shackles, and i burned the bushing out of the leaf. Ford says it is part of the spring, and i have to replace the whole spring. I don't think it is true, can someone verify this?

...Poly bushings slide right in and are the only way to fix your problem. If you could buy the original style bushing, they would be next to impossible to install. The factory uses a huge press that slams them in.
The bolts to replace the rivots don't have to be high grade, the rivots are dead soft. I use grade 5 and have never had a problem...
By ford sucking i meant because they said i had to buy the whole leaf. I don't mind working on fords in general.By the way: If you think Ford sucks, you should try working on the others!
