Hello Everyone,
I just got a 1993 ford ranger xlt 2wd with 3.0 v6 automatic transmission
I was reading your threads to find out what transmisson is in this truck and it appears I have a A4LD trans according to the code on the door "T". Well here's the problem when I got the truck it won't go into drive it does go into reverse. I checked the trans fluid and it's over filled and also check the radiator and it has some tan looking fluid as if rust but lighter, the guy I got it from said the truck was driven while trans was leaking, but I don't see any leaks under the truck. My question before I drop and open this trans is can it be possible that trans fluid is getting into the radiator the trans fluid looks clean and red. Any help will be appreciated
