Ford Ranger tires

if i were you, id get p265/75/15. im going to guess you have 15 inch rims. For brand it all depends. If you want badass all terrians, wild country xtx are sweet, but they don't last as long. I have a set of Open Country AT's and they are awesome, and last longer. Also you can go with P metric which is just standard load, but if you want a stiffer tire with beefier tread, go with LT's. LTs are more expensive but are worth it. that tire size i gave you is 31's, but just in metric form. For some reason they tend to be cheaper than 31/10.5s. I don't know why but thats the facts. I worked at les schwab for an amount of time

The question is, did they catch the booty bandit that stole it?

They did. The idiot was driving it just a couple miles away from where he stole it. They charged him with unauthorized use of a vehicle, being under the influence of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, 2 counts of probation violation, 2 counts of theft and possession of marijuana.

I think he got his!

Thank you!! I don't mean to be the typical clueless girl when it comes to this stuff, but this made it way easier. I used to fix up my jeep all the time but never owned a Ford before this. I really appreciate it! Sounds like the Open Country AT's would be what I'm looking for :)

just to clarify:

with a stock ranger you can fit 31's likes so...

even with a 3 inch lift i would not reccomen going bigger than a 32"
maybe a 33 but no bigger or else you will start rubbing

this is my completely stock ride height ranger from back in the day with 31's

And that's without any issues on the stock ranger with 31's? I tried to upload a picture of my truck last night but don't know if it worked. If you just click on my username the picture should be there.

[ Thread Jack] Dude those are sweet headlights. Where did you get them? [/ Thread Jack]

And for pictures, did you use Photobucket or some picture hosting website? (Photobucket is the most popular)

nope no issues, plenty of clearance and no rubbing, the only time it rubbed was when i jumped it. but i dont see you doing much of that. plus it makes the truck look alot better, fills out the wheel wells nicely

I don't foresee doing anything crazy with the truck. I really just drive to school/work and back. I wish I knew the tire size on my truck right now. They aren't as small as some I've seen on Rangers but I'd like a little bigger.

I keep trying to attach a picture but it never shows up... Trying again.... (through photobucket)

I just called around and no one can seem to find pricing for a 3" suspension lift for an 2WD Ranger. The only thing they are able to give me a quote on is a body lift... but from what I have read, those aren't the greatest.

Does anyone know any options I may have? :icon_confused:

you can order a set of 3' lift spindles on the internet for 300-400 bucks fabtech makes them, doetsch makes them, you can get them on ebay too. i beleive HNM offroad makes them. just search the web, order em and take em to a shop to put em on
