I have a Barnes & Noble gift card and don't know what to spend it on. I have the Haynes manual for my truck and was wondering if there were any good books for the Rangers. Mine is a 94 4.0L 4X4.

I have a CD from Sven Pruett titled "how to build and modify ford 60 degree V6 engines" it's a great CD. I know it originated from a book. It's a great piece and worth having.

Yo man where did you get the cd, I have been looking for the book everywhere for months. I dont care if its on cd. I just would like to read the info. any help would be nice thanks.

log on to alldata.com and pay the $25.00 for the subscription for your truck. i have never seen any service manual as detailed as alldata. and its year specific so none of that "1992-1995 typical" diagram crap that is frequently slightly different than yours

Then you have never seen the OEM manuals.

They are far superior to AllData

i run the parts dept of a suzuki dealership.........i have seen oem manual and how they compare to aftermarket and yes they are 6" thick books with a lot of information. half of our techs still prefer alldata so we also have the whole subscription for all vehicles (waaaaaaay more than a 1 time $25 fee)
oem manuals are chock full of info. alldata is also full of info without being super complex so its more user friendly, i don't know how much the ford ones are, and if they are even still available (they like to discontinue things for old vehicles) but the suzuki ones are no less than $130 and up depending on the vehicle
