TRS Event Ford Ranger 40th Anniversary - Truck Nationals - Carlisle PA

It took me the expected 5 hours to get home. I had to do some messing with the GPS settings to get it to stop trying to send me through Maryland. I had to change it from “fastest route” to “shortest route” in order to make it stop.

EDIT: The trip out with the roof racks on, I got 17.3 mpg. The trip home with them off, 19.3.

What do they want you for in MD?

It wasn’t the roof racks. Going to Carlisle, you were heading north or UP on the map. Heading home is south or DOWN on the map.

You always get better mileage driving downhill.

What a great bunch of guys, great club, and what a great event. I’m truly honored you guys let me participate, and that you put up with me. Lincoln had a good time too.

I made it to my brother’s house in Jersey north of the George Washington Bridge about 5 PM. Thank goodness they go to bed early, I was totally spent. They have a pool, a nice one, and it’s one of the things I love, and I didn’t even have the energy to jump in.

Praying for everyone’s safe return. Thank you for the friendship and fellowship!

“Bark bark, me too, what he said!”

That's not good.

I’m sorry you couldn’t make it, that I didn’t get to meet you, you have created a great thing here.

@ericbphoto and @sgtsandman and the other long-term members did an honorable job representing the club, and did a very gentlemanly hustle of everybody there with the Ranger to join in. You should be proud and impressed.

MD doesn't recognize any of my three (3) license to carry firearms. Heck, IF you can get their carry license, I don't think they would recognize it. If I were to get pulled over for something, things would potentially go very bad.

Actually, with the way the mountain chain is, it was up and down hill both ways.

Awesome pictures, looks like you all had a great time. Wish I could have made it.

Hope to see all of you at the fall adventure a Land Between the Lakes next month!

Sorry I couldn't be there. I was at my son's wedding.

I think you deserve an atta boy for getting your rig together. Way to stick with it. I'm sure it got a bunch of attention.

Curious if Ford brought out the Ranger Raptor... didn't see any pictures.
