Hi,
I own a Ford Ranger Double-cab pick-up, 4x4, Year 2004, 2.9 Diesel. The VIN number is MNCBSFE805W4000P.
The model is the same as the picture below.

I need to buy Front CV Axle Shaft for Driver and Passenger side. I contact ford parts dealer in my country but they can not identify VIN number. I have been looking in internet for 3 days and i can not find websites selling parts for this car. I think the car was made in Thailand. Please if anyone can help me on this i will appreciate it a lot. If you need pictures of old axles i can post them for reference.
Thank you

Find out where it was bought new and that dealer should have the info and parts available that you need. It's just a matter of what frame and drivetrain it has for those parts.

Good luck

Jeff

Hi, thanks for the fast response. The problem is that the car came abroad 5 months ago and i have no contact of the previews owners or other information where they got the replacement parts. I try to contact ford in Thailand but they didn't answer yet. At least i need what part number have the cs axle shafts and if is possible how can i order them.
Thanks

Only suggestion I have then is to either try and get ahold of some type of ford rep and figure out what you have for frame and drivetrain or crawl under there and try to get part numbers off of it and look for ford OE replacement parts with the part numbers. Either way seems it'll take awhile but once you find it shouldn't be a problem with all the parts.
Very very unique truck you have there by the way!!!!

If you can find a driveline repair shop near you, they should be able to fix them for you.

Thanks Martin, but i need to replace the damaged parts. They can not repair. I am surprised because i cant even find a service manual for this car!!!!! :shok:

Is this a Thai Ranger?

Where did it come from?

Where are you?

Hi again. Honestly i don't know where did it came from. I live in Albania, Europe. I am looking for a site that sells parts online but till now no result. Please help

Well, I ran the vin and it came back as invalid. It would help a lot if you knew where it came from.

Ok, that VIN does bring up a bit of information. (I am a Ford Technician in Canada)

OASIS RESULT:

Thanks Sasquatch_Ryda. I am very desperate. How is this possible. I can not find anything.

I think I would just call Bangkok Ford (Google the phone number) and see if they can get you the parts. I lived in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam years ago. There were so many places to buy stuff for cars and trucks in Bangkok. So many welders there that can make just about anything your heart desires!!!

Good luck, bro.

There are different Rangers for North America, Europe, Mexico, Asia, and South America. You can't find parts for your truck locally because it's an Asian truck and you are in a European region. It's probably also why your dealer can't run your VIN.

Calling a Thai dealership might be your best bet.

hi again. thanks a lot for supporting this post. i contacted a dealer in Thailand and he sent me part number. Part numbers are MD232550 and MD232560. Are this parts mazda? because if they are mazda i can ask at mazda dealer in my country. this is the picture of old parts.
