ford ranger and Mazda

Hi, I also have a ford Ranger imported form Thailand. Talk about hassle!!! Just to let you know on your question about the car part, the ford ranger is identical to the Mazda equivalent in every way. From my research they are both made in the same factory in Thailand which is a joint venture between Ford and Mazda. They are made by Auto alliance Thailand... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AutoAlliance_Thailand so parts should be the exact same!!

I was also wondering if you had and idea of the axle weights for your vehicle, or where to get them?? I have a 2.9 litre 2wheel drive version and I need the official axle weights to get a NCT/DOE (car safety test/certificate). I have googled it and rang Ford in my country (Ireland), but no joy.

there should be an axle code on the vehicle as well, in/on the door or jamb or glove box or somewhere.
