Can someone tell me which fuse is for my mad sensor I ran a code scan and it said Mass Air Flow signal is/was low or grounded so will I have to change my air flow sensor or is there something else I could do

Maybe use mass air sensor cleaner? Check all fuse with fuse tester? If not replace ot?

Fuse #4 in engine bay powers MAF sensor HEATER, not the sensor itself, so what was the 3 digit code number?

#4 powers most engine Key on 12volt systems, i.e. the computer, fuel injectors, solenoids, fuel pump relay(not pump), so if this fuse was blown you wouldn't get any codes at all because computer would be off

The MAF "sensor" part is powered by computer, 5volts, no fuse

OBD1 or OBD2 codes often don't mean what a DIYer thinks they do, even Pro mechanics tend to just swap out sensors if they see a code definition that mentions that sensor

And yes, clean the MAF sensor, once a year, easy to do
Computer compares MAF sensor data and throttle position data to see if they are in sync with engine RPMs
The computer "knows" its running a 4 LITER engine so it "knows" how much air should be coming in at any RPM and any throttle position, its just MATH, and thats what computers do, fast math
So MAF sensor low code could just be a dirty MAF sensor

A sensor mentioned in a code definition usually means the sensor IS WORKING or it wouldn't have a low or high range, it would have NO RANGE/broken
So don't SHOOT THE MESSENGER when a code comes up, lol

that would be like replacing your fuel level sensor because the guage reads empty. Instead, you correct the problem that is causing the low fuel level - put fuel in the tank.

And what do you do if you've added 20 gallons of fuel to the tank, and the gauge still reads "Empty"?

Move the needle to Full ................if its a 20gal tank
