Ford performance upgrade

Some versions of the 2.3 put out 310 from the factory instead of the 270 we have. What price is paid for that, I can’t say. Loss in low end power? Other things? I don’t know but 30 more hp is possible.

I pre-ordered from levittown, still waiting on email that it is shipping.. 45 hp and a factory warranty for less than $700 is okay with me

Also worth mentioning the "Optimized transmission shift schedule " will have to see, how it feels. Like sport mode on F150?

Also im pretty sure the magic little plug in box allows you to calibrate for different tire sizes up to 265/70/17

Dealership I bought the truck from wants nothing to do with this.
So basically they will probably not get anymore business from me.
I called another dealership and they haven't even heard of this yet but are trying to figure it out and said that I could probably get the installation done at the first oil change.

I like the fact that I can do it myself (ASE master tech), saving some money, and still be covered under the warranty... They need to do this for the 2020 F150 3.5L Ecoboost.

So far all I've seen is just the 2.3 in ranger and mustang. Musty includes a throttle body with everything else that is for the ranger.

The Exploder has the 2.3 as an option.

Anyone have one in hand? I'm still waiting, will call dealer tomorrow

comes w/ pro cal tool. and whats this you may ask: " ( The Pro Cal 4 not only delivers the performance calibration, it also stores the stock file, allows real-time monitoring of engine parameters, reads and clears DTCs, real-time data logging, and can configure tire size changes within certain parameters. It features a high-resolution touch screen and intuitive graphical interface. The tool has a rubberized protective case and even comes with a suction cup to mount to the corner of your windshield. ) " owww graphic interface, & " real-time monitoring of engine parameters" boost gauge on my windshield ?? need to know how much boost i'm running when I scream by a taco.. Could have sword when I ordered it, the dealer website said eta june, now it says july

waiting on ford performance atmospheric BOV , lol

A little update. Dealer contacted ford performance and the release won't be till late July.

Had to search the instructions for the pro cal 4 on the ford performance website, it is there. Kit does not come with instructions.. It is pretty straight forward. The tune is great,, you feel the torque on the low end through to peak. transmission shifts are spot on. Im still trying to figure out the gauge option under data logging on the pro cal, the menu gives you all these parameters to pick from, then once you pick say (not supported) was able to get the rpm to show. governor still 110 mph.. darn

I haven't even ordered this yet.
Did you do the installation or a dealership?
The whole warranty thing seems kinda stupid if all you are really installing is an air filter. I've read the instructions and it's all straight forward
