If you guys don’t want the tune at least do the k&n filter, I ran it without the tune and I thought I could feel a difference

There is a lot of debate on cotton gauze filters on various issues. Oil contamination, allowing too much fine grit into the engine, so forth an so on. To each their own on what they decide to use. I'll stick with paper element filters.
I've evolved into a "stock is good enough" guy for newer stuff..
I like the fact that I can do it myself (ASE master tech), saving some money, and still be covered under the warranty... They need to do this for the 2020 F150 3.5L Ecoboost.
Mine’s a lease... that sounds more like a you problem than a me problem.Along with more reliable phasers, better quality timing chains, better oil pump drive system, and an oil pan with a real gasket.
