Ford must hate us

superior engineering

I dunno about all that.

if you are that gung ho that an intake never comes off to change spark plugs, stop buying anything made after 2000 now and forever.

Or really any Taurus. Especially the 4V DOHC where the upper intake hangs over the coils and plugs and leaves about 3/8" between them.

Good luck.

also, your opinion might have been valid 20 years ago, but nowadays it's routine, the tight clearances and superior engineering don't leave a lot of excess room for fooling around, so, if you are that gung ho that an intake never comes off to change spark plugs, stop buying anything made after 2000 now and forever.

Yeah, so??? That kind of looks like my 97 Ranger that I could change the plugs and wires on without so much as a banged up finger. A couple of extensions and universal joints w/ tape and a ratchet.

Whoopie.

What is so hard about that? (I had 210,000 on mine when I sold it and the friend I sold it to loves it. It is still running strong. Great little truck.)
