Ford Flat tops

Besides Reid, are there any Dana 44 highsteer knuckles that have 5 bolt spindles and will clear Ford 1/2 ton calipers?

I have looked through all the Mr N's Dana bible charts and info and basically come to the conclusion that Reids are my only option, but 550 bucks will leave a dent in the wallet.lol.

Just seeing if someone has knowledge of any alternatives.

Dana 44 Ford F150 Supercab knuckles are but they are very rare.

The F250 flat tops won't work. They DO have the 5 bolt spindles, but they can ONLY fit the large twin piston caliper and rotor (8 lug configuration)

I knew about the SC 250 knuckles that wouldn't clear 1/2 ton calipers, but I didn't know SC 150 knuckles were flat tops.

I take that back. The SC 150 Dana44 only has a driver's side flat top. The pass side is too thin and doesn't have cast bosses for studs just like every other Ford 1/2 ton knuckle. I kind of remember reading that somewhere before.

You could use a gm knuckle and spindle with your ford hub if you want but you also have to buy calipers. Reids are probally your best bet. Check BroncoGraveYard. They have great deals on D60 parts. Maybe thier 44 stuff is cheap too.

I love my Thunderbird caliper setup (same outer dimensions as 1/2 ton Ford) so I will probably end up going with Reids.

I know I can use Cebby knuckles, but that means I would have to use Cebby brakes. I just bought all of my Ford stuff in the last 10,000 miles.lol
