I found someone who owns a Ford Explorer that is looking to get rid of a frame mounted Reese hitch. It is adjustable. My questions are, will it fit, and will I need to drill holes or are the frames similar enough to where I won't need to drill holes?

Whether or not you can drill holes to make it work, I'm not sure. But they are indeed different. The receiver I put on my Explorer bolted from the side of the frame, and the one I put Ranger bolted from the bottom.

my 1st gen truck has the hitch bolted to the side, iirc. i'd run out and double check but the temp is +10, the wind is about 25mph, and its dumping a combination of snow and freezing rain on the ground and everything else outside!
