We need to get with all the Ranger sites everywhere, rangermilitia, rangerstation, and anyone who is willing and petition the hell out of Ford to keep them making the Ranger. It would be a damn shame to see this legendary truck die out. It was originally built to compete with the small import trucks and we need to keep the tradition alive. Let's do it guys, keep the Ranger alive!

won't happen. plant is closing for sure. union contracts will be done this december. parts suppliers are getting their last shipments sent. the ranger, as we know it, is finished.

This subject was brougnt up on a couple of other Ranger sites 18 months ago. Ranger is dead!

Chevrolet. Dodge. Toyota. Nissan. Even f*cking Isuzu has a four door midsize pickup.

Ford pisses me off. I love the trucks, the cars, all of it. But it PISSES me off.

There's a reason why Ranger sales have declined and have half the sales of the Tacoma. At least it's still above the GM lines, for now. Then again, the figures I'm reading are from 2008. So it's probably down even further.

meh, it will just make the rest of them worth more when people dont find a good replacement for it.

im sure it will come back eventually, but it wont be anything near the ranger we know.
