I have an 86 ford bronco ii and it runs fine until it reaches its running temp. Then just shuts off untill it cools back down. I have replaced ignition coil just now and the problem still exists. Any ideas?

any codes?
have you checked your battery? your grounds?
fuel pressure?

which motor? 2.9? have you done a tune up recently? rotor and cap?

TFI ignition system can have a real issue with heat, so of course they put it in almost the warmest spot in the engine, surprised they didn't just strap it to an exhaust manifold, :)

Anyway have a look here, GOOD work sheet:

Someone suggested putting a bag of ice on the module after a no start/stall, and then see if it would restart faster, just to see if it is the module, and no DO NOT spray it with water.
