Nissan trucks suck. Their two mid-size cars (Altima/Maxima) are the two best things for that company, not including the low production Z. They are great cars. Their trucks blow goats though.
by far not at all...i would much rather drive a titan than an f150...when it comes to a HD truck it would be a Ram with a cummins in it...personally ford trucks are over rated POS's...why would it be bad for Ford to merge with Nissan, they merged with Mazda many years ago...JDM is JDM, not just saying because i am a Nissan enthusiest and have two very high HP, turbocharged 4 wackers, i am stating that because it is the truth...g35/37 coupe or mustang--i would pick the g35/37 because it is so much better looking...maxima or taurus--maxima because i had an 07 and could burn the tires off through 3rd gear on an auto...or how about the new GT-R or a cobra--i just love AWD donuts![]()
Air-cooled VWs don't get 45mpg. I've had several over the years. A bus will get less than 20mpg town or highway and a Beetle would be doing well to get 30mpg.
Actually, unless it's a head on, you likely would survive. See, lighter vehicles still absorb energy in a collision but since they are more easily moved there is less total energy to absorb. That is why the newer, lighter vehicles are actually safer than the old boats that were built in the 70's. Big doesn't equal survival. Now if the suburbanites could get that down.
