ford 9 inch locker question

Hey, I came across a deal from one of my freinds bros, he has a ford 9 for sale with a yukon grizzly locker,Yukon Nodular Iron Dropout Case,Yukon Aluminum Pinion Support, but the only problem is that the gear are around like 3.55s and im running 5.13s. Before I bought it I wanted to know if anyone knew about the grizzly locker for gears, are the lockers different for 4.11 and down and 4.11 and up. Or will any grizzly locker for the ford 9inch work for 5.13s

Should be fine, since it is a full carrier, there is no carrier breaks (at least for this locker). Although I know from experience there is a carrier break for the detroit tru-trac @ 3.92. So its not a universal constant.

My detroit locker used 3.50s, then 3.73s and now 4.11s. Put what you want on there.

My detroit locker used 3.50s, then 3.73s and now 4.11s. Put what you want on there. Just let me know how loud it is on turns. My Detroit makes people look at my truck like something is falling off. I don't want a soft locker, but might consider a Yukon if it's not so loud.

The detroit full (carrier auto-locker) in my dad's CJ-5 is noisy as hell, and it pushes and pulls the jeep all over the place. Its pretty annoying. The thing bangs and pops all the time.

Offroad its awesome though...

I'm curious to the Grizzly's road manners.

Mine is only noticeable going around turns. But mine is an auto. I am converting to a standard tranny soon, so I would imagine that the manners will change then.
