how can i use the fog light switch to turn my offroad lights on and off ie i lost my valance and foglights in a bad day in the mud. so anybody got any ideas? no fog lights = FREE SWITCH :headbang: need more light :icon_hornsup:

just redneck it. splice into the the factory wiring behind the bumper or splice the old connectors to the ends of the off road lights so you can still unplug them if you wanted. the original wiring is meant for two 35w lights. not sure how it would hold up in the long run with high powered lights. now if you want to run them without you reg lights then just do the fog light mod in the tech section.

use a relay unless you enjoy the smell of elecrical fires

a $10 relay isnt worth risking a $10,000 truck.

if your using the factory switch theirs a factory relay already used.. i did that for the lights in my bumper then hardwired a relay an other wiring into another factroy switch for my lights behind my grille
