Recently purchased a 94 Ranger Splash, and the previous owner had a key FOB that only had an alarm function, the lock/unlock didn't work. I purchased an ebay FOB that stated it worked with my year/model however the only instructions provided for programming it were incorrect, and seemed to be for 95's and up (where you turn the key on and off x amount of times).
I can't seem to find any guide/video on how to program a new FOB on the 94, but apparently it is possible since the previous owner had managed to get at least the alarm going.
Anyone know how to go about it?
