So I'm swapping the auto in my 86 for an fm146 from an 88 ranger. The 2 neutral safety switch wires were wired into the old automatic wiring along with a 3rd wire that I read was for the electric transfer case. So the problem I have is the vehicle plug for the reverse lights is damaged and unusable. Is it possible to get a new pigtail for it??? Also on the driver side frame rail is a plug the same shape as the neutral safety plug. It has light blue wires going to it and is even with the transfer case. Is was not hooked up when I took everything apart so I don't know what it goes to. Can anyone help identify it also??

You can get a new pigtail for a manual trans reverse light switch. Wells P/N 614.

The plug with the two blue wires plugs into the top of the T-case. It's for the 4x4 range sensor.

Should I be worried about the plug since I have the electric transfer case??? I didn't see anywhere to plug it in.

Hope your tranny swap went well. Did you sell the old trans/shifter linkage? I'm in desperate need of an automatic shifter handle.
