does the FM145 transmission need cooling lines? i got a 84 4x4 ranger that has a different transmission than the stock one, and the lines are just sitting there. connected to nothing. i tried to find some pictures or something about the cooling holes for the transmission but i couldn't find anything on it.

also, if anyone knows quite some bit about 84-87? ranger i would like to ask you some questions. basicly about where some of the connectors need to go, where some of the air hoses go and things like that. i greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

No manual transmission ever had external cooling lines. This was probably left over from the previous owner of an auto to manual swap...

A FM145 has no cooler lines, I suspect the radiator or chassis expected an automatic at some point in its life.
