Hello All
I am in search of some pictures of the internal components of the FM146 5 speed. I had a So called mechanic rebuild mine and right away I had a shifter rattle and it wanted to pop out of gear. The mechanic I have now is questioning if it was assembled correctly. I have looked and found exploded views but it does not show the taper on the synchro rings. He is a Chevy guy and has never worked on a Quality tranny... We have it tore down and just need a little guidance.
