Over the years I have swapped some of the parts around between fm 145's and 146's such as installing the 145's external slave cylinder on a 146, etc. As I don't have one of each out of a vehicle at this time and it has been a while since I've messed with either, my question is this: Are the shifters the same / interchangeable? I'm fairly sure they are but want to be sure before I sell off one for the other to find out differently. Thanks guys (and gals).

The shifter it self I belive are the same but as these pics show the top of the trannys are different for the shifter.

146 trans is longer than the 145 The shifter is better designed on the 146. Slave attaches to bellhousing on the 146 with bolts, the 145 clamps it behind the bellhousing
