flywheel thickness

Is it possible that my flywheel was turned down to far? I can't get my transmission to go into gear. I bled the system, it'll go into gears with the engine off and you can start it in gear and let off the clutch. But it won't go into gear at idle. My neighbor said I might've had the flywhhel turned down too much. I'm leaning towards a bad master cylinder but thats just because I don't want to drop the trans again.

i'd say its all in the clutch.

did you have shifting problems before you removed the transmission?

Yeah sounds like the clutch is not fully disengaging, if the flywheel was turned down too far it would probably just break or something or the clutch isn't grabbing to it in which case it couls still be shifted into gear but not go anywhere.

Sounds like your master cylinder is bad or you have air in the line.

Try bleeding the hydraulic system first. I'm gonna bet on air in the MC.
