I'm getting my 8.8 up to par so I can swap it into my Ranger. All that's really left is a fluid change, new differential cover, and brakes. Whats the fill capacity on the 28 spline 8.8 rear end? I've heard mixed opinions on the "fill till it spills" method. I'd much rather go with the TRS opinion lol.

I can't wait to get this truck moving again.. it's been in one spot for too long!

The fill till you can see or feel it at the fill plug is the general rule. Takes about 2.5L for you or 2.65 quarts for us Southern people.

I'm assuming the little plug looking thing by where the drive shaft connects is the fill plug? I'm talking about the one with the square hole.

Yup, and having the fill plug on the front's even better because it'll account for any pinion angle change with lift. Fill to spill is the way to do it, thats why they put the fill plug where they do.....
