what kind of flow master do i want for my truck . i dont know . is all i know is i want my truck to sound good . any ideas ??:icon_bounceblue:

If you're going Flowmaster then you want the 40 or 44 series. Although I've heard mixed reviews about how they sound on a 3.0.

I just put a 40 on today it sounds better then stock deep but not real loud.

my 44 sounded pretty good, dont go catless thats a very nasty sound. and of course thats illegal too.

i have a super 44 sounds nice really nice on first start up at 20 degrees out side, and after a week you forget its there unless you roll the windo down

I've wanted a Super 44 since I heard about them.

Now I really REALLY want a Super 44 :o)

which ever one you pick think about three weeks down the road. everything sounds good when you finish the job and your testing it out. how about three weeks down the road when your have a hang over monday morning and your try to talk to work on the cell and tell them your comming and all you fucking hear is bblubublublbulbublulublubulblb and it just makes your head pound more.:icon_confused:

Mine is a single inlet dual exhaust and chrome Y tips just behind the cab.
I strongly sugest that if You are NOT a speed freak who doesn't care about listening to your cell cals or your wife/girlfriend/mate/whatever conversation install it this way.
Me... When I don't want to here my wife nagging I rev it up.
But when my mother in law is in the truck I keep it avobe 3500 RPMs. It is SOOOOO sweet!!!

LOL nah the sound won't bother me either. I was running my Sentra with an open downpipe. I couldn't even talk on the phone with that thing.

it is not loud at all its only been on for two days and i have to roll down the windows to hear it

i was talking on my phone w/ the super 44 turned down under the axle. had some cab noise but not near as much as the straights...lol
