Anyone know where to get one? I can't find one at LMC, and I know without asking a parts store won't have it.

Mine was in sad shape before, when I made the shifter hole bigger there wasn't much left...

And on another note, anyone used the carpet kit from LMC? Is it a good deal? I have a straight shot from the bottom of the truck to my right kneecap right now and it gets pretty hot...

as for the carpet, i'd just get a decent carpet remnant from a carpet place and cut it to fit. make sure it has an attached pad (a thick one) and that should solve most of your heat problems. winter snow and slush trashes truck carpeting pretty quickly, so no sense in buying the expensive stuff for that. remnants are cheap.
and as for the gasket, why not get a thick truck/tractor inner tube and cut it to fit? especially as you've made your cutout larger. you could probably find a good used one at a local jy for next to nothing.
just a couple of thoughts.

Duh to me on the inner tube, easy to come by.

I have molded floormats and don't drive the truck much in the winter so that isn't a big worry for me. Basically only to drive thru drifts in the pasture/driveway for fun, no salt involved. I am trying to restore the truck, I just don't think house carpet will look quite right. Really pretty much the only part of the carpet I can see is the tranny hump, and because I don't have the stock shifter anymore it just has a huge hole in it.

mine is my dd and it's just so much easier to swap out carpet pieces when they get too nasty to even shake out, especially in the winter months.
might try your local body shops and see where they recommend to go for carpeting. otherwise, i've never seen any negative threads about the lmc carpets.
good luck for sure!

some truly nice and utilitarian info on this web site , as well I believe the style and design contains superb features.

Just put in a utility floor and call it good. That is what I have and I do not have to about the carpet at all. :icon_thumby:

That is what it has now.

1. Replacement tan is not available.

2. Does not breathe and traps water under it in the jute. Water gets in around the doorway and simply doesn't leave.

3. Carpet is due to be delivered tomorrow. :icon_thumby:

I have carpet in my other truck with molded floormats, I don't have to give it any special attention either. They both need vacuumed once in awhile, not a big difference.

The seat, console and shifter have changed, but the floor is the same so far.

LMC has it in black.

I tried to find used, but it all was either in worse shape than mine, floor shift or both.

Pretty much I had to clean sheet it, and I didn't want black.

Now I just need to get excited about it enough to gut the interior again in this jungle climate we have.
