flooding out alot

my 99 3.0 flex fuel floods out alot when i first got it it did it all the time and did it again 2nite on my way home i was really tired and let out on the clutch to quick and killed and went to start it and it was flloded if you let it sit it will statrt i dont know wats wrong with it
 
possibly your coolant temp sensor that tell the computer the temperature of your engine so it knows how much fuel to give the truck on start up...mine did the exact same thing...its a cheap fix. there are two temp sensors..one for the Computer and one for the dash...check the one for the COMPUTER..good luck
 
alrite guys thanks ill find out were both are located and check tomorrow
 
will do were is it located on the 3.0

The FPR on the 3.0 is at the beginning of the fuel rail on the passenger side of the engine. You can even pull it up on autozone or adveanceautoparts.com and see a pic of what it looks like. Usually chrome, round, bout 1.5 inches in diameter, three small screws that hold it on, 5/16 alan key, has vacuum line that plugs into the top of it.

As for the temp sensor, if I remember correctly, the one for the ecm is located below the tstat housing on the front of the motor.
