I'm going to put a wood flatbed on my 95 ranger and probably build some new bumpers and a toolbox for it. I plan on the toolboxes being under the bed on each side between the cab and rear wheels. I have a general idea for the bed and toolbox design but I expect to modify as I go. I am open to any suggestions for design and implementation. I use the truck mostly for hauling materials so I need to maximize the bed area. The bumpers will be a very simple design, probably just some square tubing. I could use some suggestions on suspension, I need about 3 inches of lift and increased payload. I have read through all the forums here so I know what my options are, what I would like to know is what brands work best. I will post pics when I start on the work.

i am thinking of working on mine a little this week.

my side boxes will be small and the batteries will hog the front ones up...but the center rear will hold some stuff hi and dri

i can get 4 motorcycles in mine pretty easily.
