lookin to put a flatbed on my 91 ranger to decrease the weight, and look different, need some pics and ideas.

unles you get a expensive custom made alumminum flat bed i doubt it will weigh less than a standard styleside steel box. a composite flareside (stepside) box is a possible idea, though you have less box space. dont know the weight difference.

the weight difference between flairside and fleetside is nil...the flairside might even weight a little more. those fiberglass bedsides are heavy.
 
ok thanks guys, but i just found all pros falt bed, and really like it might try something like it
 
if ur not planning on loading it up than make a weak bed for looks and light weight as well.
