I have a 94 Ford Ranger, 4.0, 2wd, auto trans. I rarely drive the truck but my girlfriend sold her Focus yesterday and our work schedules conflicted so she needed my car and I took my truck to work last night. I realized that the turn signals weren't working and checked the flashers to realize that they weren't working as well. I replaced the flasher relay in the fuse box and checked all of the fuses and all of the bulbs seem to be fine. Is there anything I should be looking for or anything I can do to troubleshoot this problem? The last time I drove the truck was around a month ago and everything worked fine at that time. Everything else seems to be in good working order. I would like a good starting point and directioen to work in so I don't have to spend all day out in the cold.

Try spraying WD40 down around the hazard switch and operate them a few times to see if that helps.

OK ill give that a shot. Also I don't know if it helps but I don't hear them clicking like they are working. I read somewhere that a guy was having a similar issue but he could here them clicking like they were working.

Have you checked the actual flasher itself? It should be right below the steering column. Lay on your back with your head against the pedals and look up. You should see it. If you have to replace it, it's an EP27 flasher. It could also be the multifunction switch going bad.
