Fixing the steering on the town bike ('97 Explorer SAS)

it's not as bad as it seems actually - i never got hung up with it. it is definitely ugly though

my mirrors gave me more problems than it did :D

What mirrors? There was none on there when I got it.:thefinger:

As for the Jeep, I have a new painless harness, new dash, new guages, switches and knobs and the 258 to drop into it. I still need to find a suitable tranny and possibly a 44 for the front since I have a 8.8 thats going in the rear. I already have the rims that are going on it and will be picking up 33s once everything else is done and the 4" lift is on.

Lee's right though, I am most likely going to sell both of them in the next couple years and build a TJ and be done with it. Its getting to the point of insanity, I now have so many projects and so much crap, I had to rent a warehouse to store everything.

muuucchhhh better!

am I lame because I don't drink on the trail?

no, your just a smart babysitter/wrecker/recovery. I used to fence9backyard, not collegiate) when I was at bragg and it was our rule, whoever fought that friday night wasnt allowed to drink before the fight.

Sometimes it seems like everyone is doing it, it takes ball to stand up when your told to sit.

By the way I like the bumper, With the lift and stock wheels you still have a 45* approach angle.

it'll be prime for sale then - someone will scoop it up right away i'm sure

in about 4 years or so i'd like to get a JK to build up and DD/trail it. so long to go

DD a lifted JK on the mean streets of NY. I'm sure theres tons of prime wheeling there. lol

we'll be in the burbs by then, so i'll have some sweet malls to wheel at :thefinger:

not at all, wasnt actually using beer as the only drink you can haul around with you on the trail, basically using beer as the example, you could haul mountain dew,dr pepper, coke, pepsi, snack paks, juicy juice, squeeze its etc. heh

Well right now its just sitting. Waiting for Nico to come over this week. Gonna do brakes, and put a new fuel pump in it, since it doesn't like to run much.

Just a little update...the fuel pressure regulator is bad, and I'm just waiting on Nico to bring a couple from the junkyard so we can get this thing out of my backyard.
