I did the fake suede in my old car.
FWIW it is different colors depending on how the fuzz lays. It drove me nuts keeping it all one color otherwise every time it gets bumped (or someone writes in it with their finger) it sticks out.

you can get regular headliner material as well. Joannes has a few colors, and you can get plenty of other colors from the site listed in the article.
